Hansika was discovered by Prabhu Deva, for the movie Engeyum Kaadhal in which she paired with Jayam Ravi. Her relationship with Prabhu Deva was said to be the main reason for Nayanthara breaking her affair with Prabhu Deva.
Middle of this year, Simbu made it public that he is in love with Hansika and Hansika too followed in line by tweeting about the same. But Simbu’s Vambu has no limits and that made that little to publish few photos showing him hugging Hansika.
Hansika, while disclosing her relationship with Simbu told reporters that, the love affair is not final but just a start. It seems, she does not like photos showing her in intimate relationship with one particular man be made available to public views.., so from that day she dropped Vambu…
For new year, it is said that she has flown out of the county just to avoid Vambu’s dating calls.
Vambu has declared that he will celebrate New Year with Arya and will not consume any alcohol on that day!!!

The year of 2013 saw a lot of rise for talent in Kollywood, not to mention the phenomenal success the films tasted at box office as well. Tamil Cinema took the stage with rookie directors making films on par with renowned artists, a whiff of innovation in terms of film making. Let's have a look at some of the movies that deserve to be mentioned at this eleventh hour!
All these movies have been compiled in no specific order.
Vishwaroopam:
Kamal Hassan's magnum opus project till date, a startling 95 crore expenditure to its kitty and a bunch of Hollywood like gimmicks this is one of the best Tamil Cinema has seen till date. Directed by Kamal, also hasPooja, Andrea and Shekhar in pivotal roles. The film had its share of controversies but eventually made it happen!
SoodhuKaavum:
Never has dark humor been foretold in such a gratifying manner, so enjoyable that you would actually never want the bad people getting hurt. Directed by yet another rookieNalan, the film has Vijay Sethupathy playing a 40 year old kidnapper and his runaway antics. One word: SUPER
Ethirneechal:
Sivakarthikeyan's biggest till date, a box office collector, a humorous rib tickler, an encouraging tale and with romance as well. Yet another debutant Durai has directed this and this movie paved way for Siva's entry into the league of bigger heroes market.
RajaRani:
Atlee is the man who can take the Lion's share of credit from this movie. Such anamazing movie revolving around the theme of love after marriage has been put together in a heartwarming way. Adding to it are Laudable performances by Arya, Nayan, Jai, Nazriya, Sathyaraj, Sathyan and Santhanam.
Pandiyanaadu:
Vishal's much required hit came late this year, in a scintillating fashion. The story of a common man who wants no harm is age old, but the screenplay was a bankable seller making it into the list of box offices. One of the year's sleeper hits.
Singam2:
The roar of the Lion through 2013 was yet again loud and clear, the sequel was a classic hit. Though missing the aroma of the original, the sequel found its way into the hearts of all Duraisingam fans and Suriya yet again established his star value on high ground.
VaruthapadathaValibarSangam
Siva Karthikeyan's next family entertainer of 2013 saw him sharing the screen space with sarcasm king Sathyaraj. Directed by Ponram the movie was audience favorite with the new girl Divya stealing the limelight along with Imman's superb music.
TheeyaVelaSeiyanumKumaru:
Sundar C is one dependable man in the recent times with his comedy still intact from the days of UllathaiAllitha. Siddharth and Santhanam bring the floor down in a Hitch like comedy with Hansika'sbubbliness, the movie was one of the finest comedies of this year.
KannaladduThinnaAasaya:
Capitalizing on the popular ad phrase, Santhanam's partnership with power star won the humor sense all over Kollywood. 2013 Pongal release was a laugh riot; made on the popular yester year movie of Bhagyaraj it had its fair share of success.
OnnayumAatukutiyum:
This movie might have not made a financial gain as expected, but was one of the must watch thriller movies last year. Directing and producing is one thing apart from his acting as well, Mysskin's jaw dropping performance is a gripping movie without a doubt.
The list doesn't end with this, and can go on! Tamil Cinema has scaled new heights with its fascinating transition of movie making and deserves a "Get up and clap" appreciation.
Wishing everyone a wondrous New Year ahead!
